Jewellery with a story...
Are you ready to wear yours?
Parv Lloyd Jewellery
Parvβs jewellery designs come from a clash of 2 careers! As a nurse turned jeweller, she creates jewellery inspired by looking at human anatomy & physiology & her surroundings.
Parv loves the idea of her pieces having a story behind them, one that is told through the design, gemstones and textures used. The result is jewellery that is about scars, resilience and transformation. The pieces become little sculptures, memories captured in metal. Sure, there is sparkle, but the story behind each piece is the best part. Full of thought & meaning, & at times totally unexpected!
At first glance these stories will not be obvious- they might be gorgeous, shocking, gritty or unexpected, possibly even controversial!
But the resulting jewellery is a powerful reminder that even beautiful, thought-provoking & meaningful things can come from the darkest spaces.

Having gone into a career of nursing, Parv missed the side
of her that was always creative & loved art at school. In 2010, an idea
sprung to her head when a friend was discussing their young child making
jewellery from random objects.
Β βI could do that!β.
Before you know it Parv enrolled onto an evening jewellery making class at her local City of Wolverhampton College. She completed Level 1 & 2 NCFE over two years, alongside doing her nursing degree. After completing year 3 of her nursing degree & graduating, 10 months later she decided to get back into jewellery. She finished another course at the college this time for 12 weeks, before deciding to apply to the biggest School of Jewellery in Europe (Birmingham City University) - based in the historic Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, in 2018. And fun fact- she was exactly 9 months pregnant when she had her interview!
Parv graduated in 2020 with a HND Jewellery & Silversmithing. She then went on to complete Fine & Advanced Jewellery Diplomas with Jewellers Academy, having also done short courses at West Dean College and The Goldsmiths Centre in London prior to these; and also achieving an 'Acquired Jewellery Professional' Certificate from the GIA. (Gemmological Institute of America)
In 2021 Parv was asked to teach the very evening class at the College where it all began for her, and has since taught at The MAC and ENKI Crafts & Gallery, Birmingham.
15 years since starting her jewellery journey, 2025 sees the launch of www.parvlloydjewellery.com and the opening of her very first shop & teaching space!
When not being a jeweller or nursing, Parv simply loves to spend her time having adventures & creating amazing memories with her boy Jai; the best inspiration.
